Very good, the price of the rent is worth it just for the secret bondo forming trick.
very good, new ideas, these pro's make it look as easy as it is.
Really nice to see how it's done. Clear & concice, they give you multiple ways to accomplish the same thing, great if you don't have a big shop at your disposal. Not what I would call an easy project but, but it is a nice easy video. I like ALL of the Covell videos I have rented so far. Also like his books.
A little on the slow and simple side, but Rudy was highly regarded and everything he said is worth listening to. This would be a real nice beginners video. I plan on making a copy of his tapping handle for the drill press, could have used it many times.
Video 1 is fairly simple, review real detailed minutia. If you can stay awake through that you will see some good tips, mostly on layout. I plan on getting #2 in the series...after a nap.
Party foul!
This is listed under metal , but 70% of the time is devoted to how to put a patina on some "metal" coating applied over different bases like plaster. Some material on patinas but not anything amazing in the least.
Super basic and short video. probably a good place to start, but not much meat.
great place to start. covers the basics and doesn't overwhelm you. Be sure to get a pencil and paper though because you will want to take notes.
#2 has lots of important info (like cloning) to see if you are really going to try something like this. lots of technical info on sterilizing, a bit of a sleeper, but how else will you learn the details from a real pro?
Clear and understandable instructions. If you are serious about trying it you will want both discs. #1 is mostly making the tools, #2 is example and tips.
Careful and deliberative but won't put you to sleep. Good enough camera work to get the point across, but not super close up.
Good pointers for first timers and someone who has made a few as well.
First rate! Just what it says- a primer. and it is all that and more.
Kent White is one of my favorites. This is older, but clear and understandable. Nice to see work done by a pro, but makes it still feel within your grasp to handle it.
This is an absolute must for anyone using a hammer and anvil. Uri just saved my elbow! I was well on the path of damaging myself and I am REALLY glad I watched this. It is short, but clear concise and well explained.
