In this DVD, the author rebuilds his engine on his own garage floor. Complete with shots of his dog walking by in the background, and audio bleed-in of an ice cream truck, sounds of his own air compressor, and at one point you hear the kid next-door's car pulling up with the radio blasting Creedence Clearwater Revival. He covers the basics, but in a less than professional production. This DVD leaves you wondering, "Just how do I remove and install the dampener on the front of the engine?", and "Hey, was there any trick to removing that carburetor, distributor, and intake manifold?" because the tutorial starts with those items already removed from the engine. There is a far better DVD available for rent on this very site that covers an engine rebuild in a professional, comprehensive, eight point manner. Check it out first.

No stone left unturned. It covered everything in great detail. It was so full of valuable information that I ended up buying a copy of my own. Certainly worth renting if you've thought that you'd like to do an engine rebuild yourself. Highly recommended.
