If you are into floral still life paintings, then you should enjoy this DVD set. Robert Johnson starts with his tinted canvas and takes you step by step on how he arrives at the final painting. He is not a gabby person, but gives the necessary information. The DVD quality is also good. Lots of close ups on the painting and his palette.
This is an excellent DVD and I definitely recommend it. Several good tips are given, plus it's just really nice to watch a master pastelist start with a blank paper and create this amazing portrait right before your eyes.
This was an excellent DVD. Perri went into depth regarding measurements of the head and how to achieve a likeness. I rented the pastel disc, but I feel that it would be helpful to other media artists as well.
