I liked it quite a lot.
Excellent video, great story and process. This is a fabulous look at the abilities of working with an Architectural Glass Fabricating Studio, such as the Derix Studio in Germany. It is always great to see Cappy Thompson's work. She is one of the very great storytellers working in vitreous glass painting of our times and in the revival of glass painting movement. She is not a kid any more in the warmth and nurturing of the great Dale Chihuly movement in glass and the high Caliber Company that they keep, a rich environment. This DVD shows it in her work and the scope of this project.
I would have liked to have seen more about the operation of working with the air brush but it was interesting to see his technique in appling color and highlights. I would have also liked to have seen his uses for fisket. He is definately good with the use of the air brush.
It was a great DVD I have not worked with Boro yet so I'm inspired with this video
Beautiful work, fun to watch the process of his work and the creating of the textures of the surfaces of his planets, and all the components that make up the looks of the planets pretty fun!
