The tape is a bit primitive and there are so many questions left to be answered... A wasted segment on flint repair for an old firearm could have answered questions about smithing...
Wally does a fantastic job of start to finish on knifemaking with minimal tooling. The production was first rate and Wally is a wonderful teacher. Awesome DVD!
I bought this DVD before I found this site. It was well worth it. All hand tools used to make a beautiful and functional knife! Very nice.

Very informative DVD. Ed does a beautiful job of explaining the art of Demascus. The sound could be better, but don't let that stop you from viewing this well done presentation.
This DVD is exactly like the title states - 'Forging a Clip Point Bowie'. If you want to see the rest of the knife making process, you have to look elsewhere. Many other selections take you through the entire process. I did pick up some tips and hints but I would have been disapointed if I bought this DVD.
If I would have purchased this DVD, I would have been very upset! The fact that I can rent it here makes it so much better. This is the second DVD from Gary and still he has not finished the knife! I think he wants you to spend $300 on DVDs before the knife is done!
Steve Johnson is AMAZING! This is BY FAR the best DVD I have ever seen on Knifemaking! Steve give so many hints and tips that you will be humbled by the pride he puts into his knives! Rent both DVDs (Part one and two) you will not be sorry!
Darrell takes you thru the basics right up to some difficult projects and he makes them all look so easy. If you have to learn something learn the right way... Darrell will show you the right way! FANTASTIC SET!
