Just completed the 2 disk set. I was very pleased with the author's presentation. The content was complete, succinct, and covered everything that a new knife maker needs to know about making a high quality sheath.
I offered lots of hints and good views of the actual work. I need to see it done (and he covered that very well). It left little doubt that the man knows his craft.
The content was very good on this Disk. The only negatives ("negatives may be a bit harsh") are that the Author was a little flat during the presentation, and there were a Few times when he described the work to do, but went off-camera for the actual work (only to re-appear with the finished product).
Would this keep me from renting the DVD... No. The overall content was excellent, and that's the only thing that really matters to me.
To my point... I am renting the other DVD from this author / presenter as soon as I finish this review.
