As was stated earlier "not as good as the AGI AK building video, but still a valuable tool." There is a good amount of info about folding a flat (something the AGI AK building video does not cover). The people in the video seemed more like hobbyists than professionals, but they certainly knew how to build AKs.
This is a great video covering all aspects of the AK, as are all of the AGI Armorer Courses (that I have seen anyway). Robert Dunlap covers a good deal of information about normal problems, easy fixes, how to maintain the AK. Overall it's a great resource for all people interested in the AK regardless of your gunsmithing skill level.
If you are going to build an AK or are even thinking about it, rent this video. It covers everything you need to know and will show you the entire process.
Another great AGI Armorer Course video. Robert Dunlap covers all the basics about form, function and problems with the AR platform. This video is good for anyone regardless of your gunsmithing skill level. A must see for anyone who wants to work on an AR.
Lenny Magill seems a bit hokie sometimes and he doesn't seem to have a background in firearms other than he has made a ton of videos and states that he spent years researching / training. But, with that being said, he does impart a good amount of knowledge and skills in this video. I've rented a few of his videos and they so far have all been "good" or better. If you are interested in CQC techniques this video is worth renting.
This video is actually half usable, half comedy. The title is VERY accurate, for about half of the video Lenny shows you a good number of techniques to improve your response time deploying an AR. The other half of the video Lenny shows you how to physically work out with the AR (I know the last time I took my AR to the gym, things didn't work out so well...). Actually, even that part was not bad, very funny though. I admit, I unloaded one of my ARs and started rolling around on the floor too. Not a bad video, especially if you need a good laugh.
Wow, if you own a CZ-75, and EAA, a CZ-97 or any derivative weapon (Magnum Research / IMI Eagles, Tanfoglios, etc.) you have to watch this video. There is so much great information about every aspect of the pistol. Robert Dunlap (my favorite AGI personality and in my opinion the best AGI teacher) really gives you every thing from the basics to advanced issues and how to fix it all. I couldn't ask for more in an Armorer's video.
Another great AGI Armorer Course (here's a tip, if you own a gun that there is an AGI Armorer's Course for, rent it). Informative information on the various models and configurations of the UZI, as well as everything you need to know to maintain and repair an UZI.
Once again Robert Dunlap and AGI made a great video. Everything is covered on the H&K platform, from the basics of stripping down your weapon, to advanced repairs. As usual, you cannot go wrong with this AGI Armorer Course if you are looking for H&K information.
To be honest, this video seemed a bit more dull than the other AGI Armorer Courses I have rented. But that is made up for by the wealth of information and knowledge Robert Dunlap imparts on the viewer (i.e. everything you need to know, seriously, it's in this video). I suppose I do find revolvers "a bit more dull" than semi-autos but I still give this video 5 out of 5 stars.
Wow, this was the first AGI Armorer Course I watched. There is so much information packed into just one hour. Everything from history to advanced repairs is covered in less time than it takes to unpack my vehicle and clean my Marlin model 60. If you have a Marlin / Glenfield Model 60 you will not regret renting this video!
You can tell that these guys' are hunters because their video production skills are not that great. However, they know a great deal about what they are talking about. If you want to butcher your own game, rent this video and live with the poor production quality.
Descent production quality and a great beginner's guide. All the basics were covered in easy to understand terminology. Recommended for anyone looking to get into MIG welding.
The tactics in the video are really good and helpful. Bill Wilson and Ken Hackathorn are masters of defensive shooting and they show you all the techniques to properly deploy a tactical flashlight. The video is a bit dated, so the information on the specific lights and especially the weapon mounted lights is old (Ken Hackathorn -- "here's some of the latest technology in flashlights" / it's a huge old style weapon light they haven't been sold in nearly a decade). Nonetheless, it's a great video if you're looking for flashlight tactics with a firearm, if you want specific information on flashlight models head to a search engine.
Another great AGI video. Robert Dunlap shows you from beginning to end how to perform a trigger job on AR-15s and weapons that use the same type of trigger system (like AK, G3, M14 / M1, most of your semi-automatic versions of military assault rifles). Once again, if it's an AGI video it's probably really good. If you are looking to learn about trigger jobs rent this DVD.
Bill Wilson and Ken Hackathorn (even Lenny Magill) are great at cutting to the basics and giving you the information you need. The video covers basic tactics for clearing a house for people with no background in house clearing. The video is very informative and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning more about house clearing.
Wow, that's all I can say about DVD. Rent it, it is very, very good. By the end of the video you will believe me. I thought I had rented my first "bad" video when I started watching this. The video production is horrible (it looks like it was shot at a dump in Israel with low budget audio and video equipment) and the accent of the instructor is pretty thick. After getting over that I learned a great deal about the Israeli shooting method that they call Instinctive shooting. It's actually really easy and you'll say "ohh I could have figured that out" once you learn it. Definitely worth the rent if you are at all interested in the Israeli Instinctive shooting method.
If you are looking to build an AR-15 this video is for you. First, it's by AGI, so you know it's produced well and the content and instruction is great. Secondly, Robert Dunlap is the instructor, he has a way of making everything easy to understand (even if it's very complex). Robert Dunlap shows how easy it is to build an AR-15 and builds several for you to see (piece by piece). If you are building or plan to build an AR-15 rent this video.
