If you use US govt charts and are thinking of switching to Jepps, this pair of videos will explain the differences. It will also explain why Jepps are often preferred over the govt charts. The Kings are the masters of aviation educational videos. A little corny at times, but clear and easy to follow. Have a set of Jepp plates and charts out as you watch the video so you can pause it and identify the features they are talking about. A worthwhile review,and if you've been using Jepps for a while already, you may be surprised at the little useful details the Kings point out.
If you're struggling over your landings, this video may help. Good explanation and demo of cross-wind landings. Also explains the most common mistakes that lead to ballooning and dropping it in and bounces and other reasons you may have more of an arrival than a landing.
If you're not going to be a flight instructor, most likely you won't have the opportunity to experience a deliberate spin. You're expected to understand them, recognize what causes them, know how to avoid them, and know what to do if you inadvertently enter one--all without ever seeing or experiencing one. But seeing them from inside an airplane is pretty impressive, and it really helps the explanations sink in. Every pilot who has not had actual spin training should study this great video by the Kings. Better yet, go out and get some actual spin training from an expert instructor.
