Video is fairly good. Is worth a look. A Corvette is a good choice of cars for painting. Color is white. This was a bad choice for viewing finish shine. It is impossible to view the quality of the white finish in a white paint booth. Covers only one painting system. PPG. Could have at least described the differences of other paint systems available. PPG is not available in my area. Covers spray techniques and prep very well. Does not describe what is involved when you desire to do a color change.

Not very useful for me. Concept of shooting the video at the job site was good however, Southern California housing construction and Northeastern housing are very different. Window type chosen was no representative of normal eastern housing and what I see in Pennsylvania. Price quotes on windows and measurement techniques with an explanation of basic fractions arithmetic could have been left out. Video was better suited for a person that owns a small one story concrete block and stucco low income home in southern LA that does not own or know how to use a portable drill.

I did not learn anything I didn't already know.

Video is geared toward new construction doors and windows. Tom Law seems to be an excellent experienced carpenter. I learned some useful tips and techniques that would be helpful in the future projects. It would have been helpful if the video could have included a little more on installations of new construction windows in an existing house that had older windows, and exterior vinyl siding with wrapped brick molding and jambs already in place. How to remove old construction and prepare the raw opening would have been useful.

Excellent video. Covered a lot of material in great detail. Expect to view the video several times to understand all that is shown. Worth the rental cost.

I have now viewed several Hometime videos on various subjects. All are useful to get an idea of the "steps" necessary to complete a given project. This video covers a large number of seemingly unrelated projects from framing various parts of an addition to installing different types of windows and doors, and even finish carpentry of trim, crown molding, and fireplace mantle. I had several problems with this video. First there was just too many subjects covered with very little time devoted to the discussion of details behind the types of materials used, and how to master the techniques to do the work well. No attention is given to how and why problems occur and what would be needed to fix these problems. Some how everything that is installed is plumb and level on the initial installation. Video editing is wonderful for getting in right the first time. I suppose this was done to save time. This may be because the actors explaining the steps are not the skilled tradesman that actually do the work.

I have been a Bulleye pistol shooter for 25 years. I though it would be fun to see if I could learn something new or at least to see if I have been doing it right. The three DVD series does teach you all there is to know about the sport. Gun safety is important but each dvd repeats the rules. I guess because most folks only view one dvd. Over the years I have learned from over master class shooters all that is shown and explained here. Those that are serious about this type of shooting should view these videos, however, if they expect to get better they MUST do all the drills and practice sessions or they should take up another type of shooting. It is hard to achieve the skills to make it fun to compete.

I especially enjoyed the direct instruction from the Army marksmanship unit coach. The take away for these videos is "practice... practice...practice..." with a purpose and you will get better.

I do not own an AR-15. I viewed this video to see what is involved in taking apart and assembling one. It achieves the purpose. Level of detail is excellent. Gunsmith is very knowledgeable and is down to earth in his step by step instruction and terminology. He discusses the tools and fixtures needed to do the job. I may look into the cost benefit of building one from one of the three kits shown. Regardless the assembly process is good for someone that does not own the firearm.

Fairly good video on the subject. Instructor covered the subject well is was very knowledgeable. I thought the camera work showing the actual grinding steps could have been a little more professional. I could not see the grinding from the camera angle shown. I liked the printed document and plans to build the grinding table fixture however it should be added to the DVD as a PDF file to make it easier to print to a copy for building the fixture later.
