Dan Erlewine is the ultimate instructor. This video picks up where Fret Basics left off and gets into more complicated fretting screnarios. It is the next best thing to spending a week in Dan's shop!
I seen all of Dan's instructional videos and they are all good. This one gets down to business by walking you though a fret level on a new neck, as well as some refretting. An excellent primer on fret work.
Of all Dan's videos, this may be the weakest set. While there is useful information, it seems that alot is missing. Acoustic setups are nowhere near as complicated as electrics, but I expected alot more. Still worth seeing, but not quite as impressive as his other videos.
If you are interested in getting started in guitar repair and setups, this is the best training investment you can make. Dan not only shows you how to do it RIGHT, he also saves you money by doing most of it with homemade tools. Get your notebook ready, there is a ton of great stuff here!
