What should our next contest be? Glassworking? Quilting? Other? You tell us … we’ll listen! |

Figurative sculpting! Bust or complete figure would be great. |

Great idea, but I really think glasswork contests should be divided into hot glass and warm glass. Lampworking/blowing and kiln casting/fusing are so very different. |

How about a contest for 3D computer animations. There are a number of videos available for Lightwave and it would be interesting to see what people do with what they learn from them. |

Glassworking sounds like a popular choice! David B, splitting glassworking into different categories would definitely make sense, but given that there’s probably a limit on how many contests we can run, I think we’d rather give everyone a chance to show their stuff, even if we have to mix things up a little. On the other hand, maybe we could run two contests at once, with smaller prizes for each… what does everyone prefer? Gary, I think the animations contest sounds like it could be a lot of fun, though we’d have to revamp the software a little bit, right now entries can only have still photos. |

If you have one for glass “jewelry” you can have warm and hot glass submissions. That would be interesting to see the warm glass vs. the hot glass compete. Everyone would really step up their game. Vote: Glass jewelry |

yes, divided up the glass work by type of glass and method of manipulation, GREAT idea…. plus it gives me an extra chances or two to win. |
