What kind of art projects have you been working on this summer? We’d love to see what you’ve been up to, and we want to give you the chance to share your art with all of our customers!
That’s why we’re holding a contest…submit a photo to katherine@smartflix.com of a piece you have created that you think deserves recognition. Any kind of art you want to submit is fair game - from paintings & drawings, to glass pieces & clay sculptures, to jewelry & crocheted pieces. If you consider it art, so do we.
The creator of our favorite piece (to be chosen by a panel of us here at SmartFlix.com) will win a feature article on our blog with the winning art’s picture front-and-center, 2 free DVD rentals good for any video available on SmartFlix.com, a free T-shirt, and a graphical badge to put on your website or blog honoring your win. Also awarded will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runners up…these winners will also receive blog posts with a picture of the winning art, as well as a graphical badge. So go ahead and submit a photo of your art to us; whether you are a seasoned professional or a complete beginner, we want to see what you can do.
In your email, include a brief (less than 200 words, please) description of the story behind your art…who or what inspired you, why did you do what you did, how long did it take you, where is the piece now, etc. A little background story makes a beautiful piece even more interesting. Images must be attached to email as a gif or jpeg file. Please reference contest in subject line of email. All images must be submitted by August 31st, at 11:59p.m. to be considered. Please read our legal bit before submitting.
