As my 7 year old daughter has developed the habit of tipping her head to “look cute” when anyone takes a picture of her resulting in shots that look like someone has stapled her ear to her shoulder I could use the advice on avoidance of Camera Face. Looking forward to more of Lileks on this site.

Good timing on this article. I kept hearing a digital camera shutter this morning at the office. When I got up to investigate, I discovered my phone had been taking pictures of the inside of my front pocket. All the pictures are black, indicating a low light condition.

The DVD I suggested was the new Scott Burdick Charcoal video. It has been in your catalog for two days and already says “Very long wait.”

I’d like to make a suggestion, and I don’t know where else to submit it.

I think it would be a good idea to allow someone to reserve an upcoming title if he was the person who suggested it for the catalog.

Months ago I suggested a title, and it was finally added to the catalog. I’ve been checking for it on SmartFlix almost daily, It finally showed up in the catalog on June 14. I saw it on June 15 and immediately ordered, but I was too late (I knew it would be popular), It’s already out of stock and now I have to wait. I feel that, since I suggested a potentially profitable title, I Should be offered the opportunity to be the first to rent it.

Just a thought.

I’ve rented several videos from SmartFlix, and I’m starting to budget it into my plans for my personal art development. I just returned one set of DVDs this week, and have already ordered another. This is one of the best services on the net!
